Historic Banker's House and The Landing

Entry Description

Take a virtual tour through one of our 1889 Victorian era digital twins nestled along the Minnesota River. Frank Tabaka and his wife Lucy purchased the house in 1904. The son of Polish immigrants, Tabaka ran a series of businesses including grain elevators and a grocery store. He also served as the Mayor of Lakeville. The wealth of the Tabaka’s can be seen in the house’s size, its technology – including electricity - and its modern convenience like an indoor bathroom!
