City of Bolzano

Entry Description

Virtual tour through the entire city centre of Bolzano (Italy). The city centre was divided into 5 streets / models. The starting point is at the well-known fruit square in Bolzano.
In the tour, shops were linked which can be searched for by the future guest. The infopoints can also be filtered using the menu and category. These are added continuously.
Such digital Matterport tours allow city centres to present themselves digitally, facilitate orientation and shops can distinguish themselves from competitors.
Soon, the first shops will also make 3D tours, which in turn can be linked in the tour.
The whole thing was "still" realised with the Matterport Pro2 in combination with the Leica BLK360. The difficulty was to do it only in the morning, because of the same lighting conditions and of course the problem of UV light. Using the Blur tool, the faces can be blurred out for privacy if desired. These problems are now a thing of the past with the Pro3 and are much easier to implement!
This opens up completely new possibilities!
