The Claret Barcelona school was founded in 1871, due to the need for an educational center that would transmit, in addition to a comprehensive education based on culture and values, innovative knowledge, to prepare society for the cultural and technological change that was taking place in That moment.

They currently maintain that innovative spirit, and after 151 years of its foundation, technology continues to be an essential tool to achieve its goals. During the COVID-19 pandemic period, they faced the situation using Matterport's 3D technology, holding virtual meetings to answer questions and share hopes with families through a well-documented digital twin, with welcome videos, and explanations of the educational model by teachers.

Undoubtedly, this digital twin is of great value, because it preserves part of the historical heritage of Catalan society, helped to deal with situations of displacement in times of pandemic, and continues to provide families with a sense of belonging to the educational center.

El colegio Claret Barcelona se fundó en 1871, ante la necesidad de un centro educativo que transmitiese, además de una educación integral basada en cultura y valores, un conocimiento innovador, para preparar a la sociedad ante el cambio cultural y tecnológico que se estaba desarrollando en aquel momento.

Actualmente conservan ese espíritu innovador, y después de 151 años de su fundación, la tecnología continúa siendo una herramienta imprescindible para alcanzar sus objetivos. Durante el periodo de pandemia COVID-19, afrontaron la situación haciendo uso de la tecnología 3D de Matterport, realizando encuentros virtuales para resolver dudas y compartir ilusiones con las familias a través de un gemelo digital, muy bien documentado, con vídeos de bienvenida, y explicaciones del modelo educativo de parte de los profesores.

Sin duda, este gemelo digital tiene un gran valor, porque conserva parte del patrimonio histórico de la sociedad catalana, ayudó a afrontar situaciones de desplazamiento en tiempo de pandemia, y continúa aportando a las familias sentido de pertenencia al centro educativo.
