Garborgheimen 2.1

Entry Description

This digital 3D twin documents Garborgheimen, the childhood home of Norwegian author Arne Garborg, located at Jæren, Norway. Garborg was a leading literary figure and a key contributor to the development of Nynorsk, shaping Norwegian cultural identity through novels, essays, and social critique.
The digital twin offers an accurate, immersive representation of the house and its interiors, preserving a nationally important heritage site while making it accessible to a global audience. The project demonstrates how digital twin technology can support cultural preservation, education, and long-term documentation beyond physical limitations.
